Well last week the girls were in IN, and of course they had a BLAST!! And I had a week from you know where....I had a test monday, wed & thurs., a paper due thurs. and clinicals starting!!! I was so nervous but managed to make it through all with flying colors! It was such a relief and I was finally able to breathe a little on Friday!!
This 8 weeks marks a new round of clinicals - Intro to management!!! I will have a chance to be team lead, team member and even spend a day in the OR!! I am so excited about that and hope that I get to see a couple of different surgeries as I will be in the OR for about 6 hours!
The kids are doing good we had a little issue with Jaya this weekend, we did her flush as normal but nothing came out, so to me this means some sort of blockage, especially when she is crying and then starts to throw up...so we took her in for an XRay - we just went to the ER at Mercy - our local hospital. We did this b/c it can take up to 45 min to get to UW childrens hospital. I really thought this would be okay but they were so clueless to her condition and I knew they wouldn't be very familiar with everything but I guess I expected a little more. But anyways, her xray was fine and they just said to flush again the next day, and it worked...she is back to normal! Neela has started talking sooo much more! Its amazing what 2 days a week in school has done for her!
