We just said goodbye to Neil, Rita and the boys....they came to visit this weekend and just left to head back home! As I have said before, I love having visitors, and we always have such a great time, but it is so hard for me to say bye!!!!
We did have a great time this weekend! I got home Friday night from work and they were already here, Neela was in bed, but Jaya, Nolan and Aiden were in the basement playing, they were hilarious! Finally all the kids went to bed and we got to have some adult time, chatting and drinking some good wine! I know we finished off one bottle and I think there may have been more drank as well!!!
On Saturday - the guys went to play some golf and Rita and I took the kids to the park - we went to Palmer park, which is one of the big ones here in town. They had so much fun - we ran them silly - and I know Rita got some exercise too!!! After that it was lunch so we met the guys at a local pizza place....the kids ate and I think Jaya had 3 slices of pizza, she just kept on eating!!! And although they had a blast, Miss Neela was getting a little grumpy, so we had to come home and put her down for a nap!
We decided that after the guys got home we would take the three kids back to another park! We headed out to Peace park, this is where I got most of the pictures, my camera died on me as soon as we to Palmer!! Imagine that!!!!!
The kids loved the Rollie slide (not sure what it is really called) Even got Rita on it!!
We had fun chasing the kids around the park, but I think the best part was after that - we dropped all the kids off at home with Nick and Neil (they played outside with the water slide) and Rita and I went wine shopping!!!!!!!!! I have never been to Woodmans ( a grocery store) and they have a HUGE liquor selection! I think Rita left with 5 or 6 bottles of wine, hope you enjoy them Rita!!!!
So we had a very nice weekend and can't wait for them to come back and visit! So Neil and Rita - Thanks for making the trip up and we hope you made it back safely!!! We miss you already!!
