So I actually have a little bit of time this morning so I thought I would share our week in IN...We got to Lafayette on Monday and not only were my parents there waiting for us, but so was Porter! It is so good to see him and of course he has been growing like a weed! The kids all played and we just hung out - then Tuesday night - Nicks parents came over for dinner!
Wed we made our way down to Brownsburg and got to stay with Kait and Rajeev, it was really nice to be down there, I think we have only been to there house a couple of times, the kids had a blast throwing water balloons at Uncle Rajeev and Aunti Kait!!!
Then Thursday morning it was back in the car again and this time off to Oxford, where we got to spend a couple of days just visiting with everyone before the wedding festivites started. The kids were so excited to see all their cousins and just get the chance to play with everyone. I was happy to see everyone as well - but boy let me tell you - going anywhere for a week is challenging enough when you are packing but you throw 3 kids in the mix, we have blankets, baby dolls, clothes, shoes, swimsuits, diapers.....and the list goes on and on!!!!!!! I felt like everytime we were going somewhere new we were moving in - we probably could have with all the stuff we brought!
Then Friday night was the rehersal dinner and Saturday the wedding. Kris had asked me to take pictures at the wedding for them, I was super excited to do it but really nervous at the same time, I just wanted to make sure I did a good job, so I asked my friend Kelli if I could borrow her Cannon rebel and she said yes, so I was hoping that would make a difference. I think I got some good shots, and of course Kris looked great! The bridesmaids dresses are such a pretty color blue!!!
It was great to see everyone and be able to visit. Then Sunday morning after visiting with some more family we were off......sad to leave everyone but thankful I would be sleeping in my own bed again too :)
Thanks to everyone that let us crash at their place....mom/dad, mimi/grampi, Neil/Rita, Rajeev/Kait! We really appreciated everything!!! We miss family already and friends as well - you know I thought being home for a week we would be able to visit more friends, but that just didn't work...I did get to see my friend Jessi and meet baby Reid for the first time, got to catch up with Kelli and have lunch with Scott and Lauren who I think are planning to come up this weekend! YAY - we LOVE visitors!!!!
Well hope everyone is doing well - oh and I do have to say Happy Anniversary to
Neil and Rita
Paul and Amy
and newest married couple Rajeev and Kait!!!
Love to you all!
