I started my LPN orientation this week...I am not such a morning person but will be working day shift for 2 weeks and PM shift for the last 2 weeks. Once school starts I will be on a normal schedule, working every Tuesday and Friday along with my weekends!
My first day was Monday and it was great....I did more that day then I thought I would, helped pass meds, did BGMs and insulin! I know there is A LOT to learn and hopefully I get paired up with great nurses so I can learn everything I need to!
The kids have been great, and we have some fun stuff planned, heading to the rock co fair tonight and then possibly camping and canoeing this weekend....next weekend our friend Sarah is getting married and we are heading up to Wausau. But the coolest part is when we are driving back, we are stopping at the dells!! YES we are FINALLY going! The kids are soo excited and really so are we. I have heard so much about it and we have been dying to do so now is the time! I will make sure I get some pictures posted soon...I know you are waiting Mimi ;)
