Construction has officially started in the basement today! Nick had taken the ceiling down over the weekend but we were waiting for the assessor to come to make sure we didn't need a permit! A permit to do work in the house, we never had to do that back home in Oxford! It's just crazy...but oh well - good news - we don't need the permit! So Nick and Jaya went down with the tools this evening and started studding in the walls....I am so excited and can't wait to see it all done!
And even more exciting we are getting a visitor on Friday...Rajeev has to head to Madison for a bachelor party and he will be coming by on Friday!! And then the count down starts, we get to go home next weekend...so excited to see everyone and have another party for Miss Neela.
We have not gotten any more snow but it is still really cold....but we did hear there could be a heat wave this weekend, yup - 40 degrees....so wonderful!
