Down time with family

This week we finally got to spend some much needed time with family....we headed out to Oxford on Monday and spent a couple of days with the Deckard clan, lots of laughs, not to mention wine :) The kids had a great time playing together and of course the kids got to open more presents. But I think the highlight for us was getting to see Porter, he left in August and we were so excited to have Christmas with him as well! He is growing like a weed, but doing great!



After leaving Oxford we spent a some time in Lafayette with the Chhabra's and at this point I have to say congrats to my mom who officially retired on Dec 29th!!! After about 15 years with Regions bank she is now unemployed!!! YAY!! This means more time she can spend at home and visiting with grandkids and family! We are very happy for you mom!!!
