We landed in Indy Thursday night at about 11:30pm - talk about a long flight - we were delayed in Chicago for 2 hours!!! But it was all worth it, our trip was amazing and so much fun! The wedding was great and Britt, as usual, looked so beautiful! The dress, the ceremony, the reception - all wonderful, and it seemed that everyone had a great time!
On Monday we headed to Playa Del Carmen for a little shopping with another couple, didn't find too much but it was quite the experience! Some of the shops had the cutest little things, but we really didn't buy too much things were still pretty expensive!
Then the rest of the week was spent by the beach, pool side, eating or drinking...I would recommend an all inclusive resort to anyone, if you have the chance, you should do it! So amazing - the food was wonderful and we were able to have different cuizine every night, Indonesian, Lobster, Mexican, Sushi....the list goes on and on! Also there are so many things to do, we even took out a Hobie one day - Nick did the sail while Jeff did the rudder, it was quite interesting to say the least, Britt and I got a good laugh!!!
I know everyone is waiting on pictures and I will post some as soon as we get home, my card reader is not working properly, but rest assure pictures will be up!!!
So since coming back Nick and I have been a little under the weather....montezumas revenge - and with full force, BUT now it is Saturday and we are both feeling a ton better!
Britt if you are reading this (I would say Jeff to but I am sure he is not reading this) - Thank you for an incrediable week and that we will never forget, your wedding was amazing and I am so happy to have finally met your husband, can you believe it...husband!! We had the best week and you and Jeff were wonderful hosts - THANK YOU and Love you both!!!
