Yup, it's tornado season! So here we sit at 1:30 am in the basement, listening to the rain waiting for our tornado warning to pass! It has looked like it was going to storm for a while, and air today was just so humid! I have to be up at 5am to get ready for work....I decided to go to bed early, some good that did me, but thankfully Nick stayed awake to watch the news and see what was going to happen. He woke me up at about 12:45am and we will be down here until at least 2:30am!!!
We got the kids up and so happy that we have a bed down here that Porter and Jaya jumped into right away and hopefully will sleep through all the thunder! Nick is rocking Neela right now and I am praying she will go back to sleep when we are able to go back up.
This is the first time since being married that we have a nice basement to move to when the weather is bad! Our old house was just a cement floor and you did not want to be down there for long.....yucky! But now we have a finished basement, with TV, bedroom and bathroom!
YEAH - they have just cancelled our tornado warning so we are off to bed! It looks like it is headed towards the NW portion of IN - so where ever you are we hope you are staying safe!
