We managed to make it to Jaya's doctors appointment today even with the snow, and thankfully cause I know we were both anxious to find out what he was thinking after seeing the MRI, so we have good news! He wants us to continue working on a regamin of medications for a while to see how that works, surgery MAY be needed but he is not thinking about it right now - which is what we were hoping to hear! So now we stick with our laxatives for her and try to get her on a schedule, if surgery needs to be done it will be tough - if he has to do the pull through, he will also have to do a temporary colostomy bag and that will be so hard, so let's all just pray that the meds work!
One thing he did find from the MRI is that her tethered cord is back, not sure what will happen with this but he was going to have a neurosurgeon look at it and then we will know more. She is not having any leg or lower back pain, so hopefully it is something that can just be left alone for now.
In other news the snow has come back....it is FREEZING outside and not sure how much we have gotten so far, but I think it is somewhere around 5 inches and now it is starting to blow, so we will see what the morning brings!
