Yesterday we went to Madison to visit with Dr.Lund - he is the pedi surgeon.....so he basically said keep working on the senna (laxitive she gets every morning) and start giving her a whole pill instead of half, so we started that this morning. We are scheduled to go back and see him in at the beginning of June. I feel like we get somewhere with her bowels and then we are back at square one again, I know it has gotten better, but some days are still pretty bad!
When we were there yesterday Jaya mentioned that she was having some side/hip pain so he looked at her chart and noticed that her urine grew something the last time we were there, which was at the end of March, so he was thinking she had a UTI that had gone untreated for this long....Nick and I were not happy, a UTI with her is nothing to mess around with, I get paniced really quickly anyways, so I was thinking that her side pain was becuase of her kidney....so we had to leave another sample and they ran it - but GOOD NEWS - NO UTI!!! Now we just need to figure out why she is having this pain, for all I know she could have run into something at school.....oh well - guess we will just wait to see!
So we will head back in June and have another follow up with Lund to see how he thinks Jaya is doing....he mentioned again the possibility for doing the MACE operation, but only time will tell!
