A little catch up....

I have been bad about blogging and I am sorry, I know there are some of you that do read this daily and want to know what is going on!!! So sorry :(

So last week we had kindergarten orientation...WOW - can't even believe she is going to start K in the fall!!! Feels like just yesterday she was born, my baby is getting big!



She had a great time and was super excited to meet new friends and see what the classroom would look like. We met all the K teachers but the first one we met was Mrs. P (her name is really long so they all call her mrs.p) - and she is the team lead for all the K teachers! It was crazy when we walked in, because as soon as she started talking to us or Jaya - it was Tracey Best!!! I hope Jaya gets Mrs.P!!! We have her supply list already - so we better start shopping!!!!


Nick has been working really hard to make sure Porter's room is all done when he gets here, drywall..check, mudding and sanding...check, paint...check, floor...check AND we got chalkboard paint with magnetic paint underneath it!!!!! You buy the magnetic primer first and then you can buy chalkboard paint in black or green....coolest thing ever!!! Here is a pic of Jaya showing it off.....


The floor just got finished yesterday - I will put up new pics later this week, and then we just have to get some trim and find him a bed! I think I found the bed spread, it's navy, grey and orange with skateboard stuff on it! I think he will love it!! We loved this new magnetic/chalkboard paint so well - we are going to do it in the girls room as well - Jaya picked out her color - Purple!!! So hopefully we will get started on that soon too!


Speaking of purple, we got our Team Jaya shirts!!! Double YAY!!!! I am so excited about this walk and nervous at the same time, because Nick and I have to say something before the walk starts...yikes! Well I am sure Nick will make me do all the speaking, but I am going to type everything out, so when I have a breakdown and start crying - which we all know WILL happen - he can take over!!

The walk is this saturday and then I am flying out to OH for Maya's first communion - it will be nice to see everyone - I wish we could all go, but Nick will be working and it's too much for the kiddos! So just me this time.....Nick has been very busy - and I can tell planting is here! Tonight he will not be home until about 10:30 - that's okay more time for me to get some studying done....I have a micro lab report due wed, anatomy lab quiz on thursday and micro lab quiz on friday!!! Oh the joys!!

Oh - tomorrow we have an appt with Dr.Lund - the pediatric surgeon - just a follow up and not sure what he will have to say to us, but I will keep you all posted! We were supposed to go a couple weeks back, but then Jaya got the pox and we couldn't go - so we are off tomorrow at 4pm!
