It has been a very long week...CNA class is long and very fast paced, but I am getting it and wish I could be done now, but 1 week down and 7 more to go. After 5 weeks I will be able to take the certification test. Then I will go on to class for 3 more weeks to do the advanced portion, this is what I would need to work more in a hospital setting rather than a nursing home. Either way I am excited to have a job at some point!!!
So on top of everything today I must get some packing done. We are heading home tonight after Nick gets out of work......I am soooo excited and I know we all are, not only are going to visit with family but we are also picking up Porter for spring break. We will come back on Sunday and then take him back again next weekend. We - or I should say Nick, got most of the basement done, but the bed is not down there yet, so we will be keeping the kids upstairs, but by the time Porter comes for summer it should be all taken care of. I am a little sad because I won't get to spend too much time with him, I have class on M and W from 12:30-9:30 and T and TH from 2:30-9:30 so really just all day Friday to hang out!!!!!
So below is a video that I took of Neela.....when we went to Del Taco for lunch (the day Jaya took her picture with the cow) she got a kids meal and in there was a toy. It's one of those toys where you can make it spin, I forget what it is called, but Nick could tell you.....anywho, Jaya thought it was hilarious when Nick would balance it on his finger or his head, so one day he tried it on Neela and she LOVED it! I have never seen Neela sit so still, but she really does and it is just too funny!
So we thought we would share with everyone!
Hope everyone has a great weekend, I know we will although we maybe coming back up here to 6in of snow....I am hoping they are wrong so keep your fingers crossed that they are!!!
