Family.....

This has been a very long week....Nick and I headed to Oxford on Thursday afternoon for Uncle Harolds service, it was great to see everyone and visit for the short time we were there, but wish it were under better circumstances. The service was very nice and we headed back just after lunch on Friday. We were able to leave the kids here at home, Mallory watched them over night...we thought the drive would be too much for them, since we were home for such a short time!
But mom and dad got here last night and the kids have had so much fun playing with them. We celebrated Jaya's birthday today - nothing too exciting, I actually put her candles in a doughnut we got from the farmers market! :)
And they (Porter and Jaya) had their first swimming class today - they loved it, but I think Neela was just a little jealous! All the kids had fun playing in the kiddie pool out back and the new slip and slide they got! I was able to watch for a while but then it was off to work. Tonight was my first night off orientation and boy was it hard! I felt like I was moving so slow and holding the other girls up, but I know as time goes on I will learn the ropes! Just hope I can do it sooner than later!
