We had a very productive weekend, this was town wide garage sales so we drove around all morning on Saturday....well we started by taking the kids to swim lessons, which of course they really enjoyed!! I must say the girls at the Y do a great job with them, I hope to get them into another session as well. Anyways so we headed out after that to drive around some more, there was 1 thing we were on a hunt for - a buggy for behind our bikes to pull Neela in....Nick and I got bikes last week at yard sale! In the midst of driving around we found 2 other things that we wanted to get, one - a cute little wooden table for the kids room - perfect for them to sit and color on! And Porter got a scooter!!! Jaya had gotten one for her birthday and he wanted one, and we found it - he loves it!!!!!!!!!! So we kept on driving and then when we thought we were all done, we found it - a double one, so we could put both Jaya and Neela in it! It is so great to have cause now we can all go out and do things together - no strollers needed!!!!! But we did have one more thing to get, Aunti and Uncle had sent Jaya money for her birthday specially for skates and I promised her that on sat. we would get them, we did and of couse she loves them!!!
Other than that we just spent as much time as we could outside on Saturday! I had to work last night and Nick said he took the kids for a ride, Jaya and Neela rode in the trailer and Porter rode his bike, they went for at least 2 miles!! And Porter rode his bike with no training wheels too - Nick said he just took off onto the sidewalk - NO HELP!!!! Such a big boy - I can't even believe it!
