So typically I work the PM shift - 2-10:30pm so I miss a lot of stuff in the evenings...dinner at home, playing in the back yard and bike rides! Yup, bike rides, now that we all have bikes the kids have been riding like crazy....they usually go every night and tonight I got to go too! It was so much fun - I pulled Neela along and Jaya actually rode her bike the whole way. We didn't go as far tonight as they normally do, but she did great, and Porter as usual did a wonderful job! He is so good and could go for miles :) I am excited because I am home tomorrow evening too...right now I am doing orientation for BMH - and it's a 2 day deal. As much as I am not an early morning person, it is nice to get done and cook dinner at home!!!
Also this past weekend the kids finished up their swimming lessons! They did so well and I so proud of both of them, Porter likes to show off his ability to hold his breath and Jaya is getting better about putting her whole face in the water!! I wish I could have gotten them enrolled in more things this summer, but now I know when things are offered and will be able to load their summer full next year!
So on Sunday we went to get our family pictures taken...we went to Target and I was surprised at how well the kids cooperated....they all smiled and it was great! I can't wait to show them off when we get them back, this is our first family picture taken since Neela was born (besides our christmas card). These are a couple of pictures I took before we left the house, Porter looked so handsome in his plaid shorts and the girls wore their dresses from Mexico!!!
