Last week we also took the kids to the county fair! Oh - I was so excited to see everything and the kids had a blast as well - they had so many rides and Porter and Jaya could have spent all day there! One picture is of the kids in the bee ride, it took them around and up and down. The other picture is me trying to get Jaya through the obstacle course, she got started and couldn't do it!
We walked through the animals and just walked around, but it did make me sad in a way, I am used to heading to the fair and seeing everyone we know, almost like its a time to see people you haven't seen in a while....but not here! It was weird being there and not knowing ANYONE!!! But maybe next year we will know more people!
So then the kids wanted to help me cook one day, so we started off by making a jello cake...I thought this would be the most fun for them since they would get to poke holes in the cake...so we got to work, and below is a picture of the kids holding their cake!
After we made the cake we started on dinner and make pasta with chicken and I was so proud of them for doing as much as they did!!! They are such amazing kids and I love them so much!!!
