COLD and ICY

It has been long weird couple of weeks. First you have people you don't know come in to your home and pack up all your belongings...then a new bunch of people come in and put all those boxes in a truck and drive away....we were left with suitcases, toys and tears...but we did it and now we are here and boy is it cold...and icy! Nick came up on Thursday night and I went to stay with my parents, the movers came to unload the massive semi with our 129 boxes on Friday morning. I drove up on Saturday morning to a house FULL of boxes and furniture (most placed in the right spots)! We have spent the last couple of days unpacking, the only room upstairs left is Jaya and Porters room, then we are on to the basement....man we have A LOT of stuff!!!!




The girls have been staying with my parents and I am sure getting spoiled....then tomorrow morning they are heading to Indy to spend time with Aunti Kait and Uncle Rajeev! Jaya has been talking about going to Aunti Kaits house ever since we told her about it - she is sooo excited! We really miss them, but there is no way the boxes would have gotten unpacked as quickly as they did if they were running around.
I knew it was going to be hard, but I didn't think there would be so many tears - on my end of course! I know it will just take some time to get used to everything - and really now that we have our stuff set up the way we like it, it is feeling more like a home, if only our friend and family were closer!
