Kids and Snow

We had a busy but relaxing weekend...my parents got here on Thursday night to bring the kids...it was great to see them and Jaya was so excited to be home...home, still is hard to realize, but Janesville is home now! And we got some other news on Friday - our dear friend Tracey had surgery to remove cancer, and her surgery went well. She is still in the hospital and will have quite a bit of recovering to do, but we wish her nothing but the best! We love you Trace!

The snow started on Friday morning, Nick got up and headed out to work, while me, mom, dad and the girls played all day! They are getting so big, Neela is just about walking, she really wants too, but she is standing all the time; she is wanting to eat more table food also, so now gold fish and animal crackers are her favorite! We showed mom and dad around on Saturday, after shoveling through a ton of snow!!! We headed out to the mall and then got a snow blower! YEAH - Thanks mom and dad! It is wonderful, Nick was able to get the rest of the drive clear, so now we can get both cars on the drive way!
Then Sunday morning they were off, mom and dad took off about 9am, and left us on our own, our first day - just the four of us in our new house! After we got the girls down for a nap, Nick and I decided to get the kitchen painted, so here are some new pictures...sage green and chocolate brown - we love it!
So today Nick is back at work and I am home with the girls...we are supposed to get anywhere from 3-5 more inches of snow and by the end of the day it should be blowing too....fun, fun! I get to take the girls out tomorrow, we get to meet the new pedi.
Hope everyone is staying warm.....lots of love from WI!!!
