Update on Neelas appointment

So we had Neelas appointment this afternoon! She did great, the nurse took us in and then we saw the doctor, and Neela had fun playing with her stethescope! We found out how much she is growing.....she weighs 20lbs. 15oz and is 32 inches! According to the doc she is the 50% for her height and in the 25% for her weight! Not so bad, and actually she is only 12lbs lighter than Jaya! I think Neela is going to catch up quickly!
Then it was on to the shots! She needed 4 shots and we got them all today, so the doc left and sent in the nurses, yes nurses plural! I figured it would be 2 but in walked 4 nurses each with a different shot, we laid her down and I held her hands while they cleaned the areas on her leg, then counted, 1..2..3 and all 4 at the same time!!!!! Of couse Neela screamed, but after a few minutes she was okay - even waving to the nurses as we were leaving!!! My kids are so amazing!!! Neela is doing great with eating, she does not like baby food anymore and only wants to eat what Jaya is eating!
She has 12 teeth and I think 13 and 14 are coming in any time! She is signing "more", "please", and "milk" all the time and getting better about showing us what she wants! She is not talking a whole lot yet, but I know she will get there soon!
Jaya is doing well - loving her new hair cut! I even get to brush it every day and sometimes twice a day:) We got her some mouth wash this weekend and she loves using it, so now every morning and night she likes to use her "washmouth" (as she calls it) and brushes her teeth with her big girl toothbrush and toothpaste! She does really well with swishing and spitting it out, such a smart girl!!!

I started my advanced class tonight and it seems like it is going to be very interesting, it is only 3 weeks, 2 weeks in the classroom and one in clinicals at the hospital!
The girls and I are heading to Lafayette on Friday, mom and dad are on their way back from India right now and we are excited to see them. Then it is on to Fort Wayne on Saturday, Rita and I are going to the Vera Bradley outlet sale, I know surprise....surprise! I can't wait!!
