6:15am and I am the only one up in our room....Jaya is actually so peaceful right now, last night was rough! There was so much pain and even now if she just touches her tummy it hurts her, but thankfully our nurse has been great about checking in to see if she needs more morphine. She has also been getting Tylenol every 4 hours.
We are waiting on the docs to do rounds, so hopefully they will check her out and give us some insight as to how the day will go!
It is so hard to see her in so much pain....she even used the face scale to show us that her pain was a 4 out of 5! There is not much else they can really do for her and she has hardly moved her body around which probably means that today when she does move - it is really going to hurt. Right now she is in and out of sleep with an ice pack under her neck....I am hoping for a good hour like this, but someone will probably come in and that will wake her up!
